The artistic heritage of the Department is represented by the library system, enhanced by the recent renovation works of the rooms to facilitate access for users.
The library was established in 2019 as a result of the merger of the Departments of Pediatrics, Gynecological-Obstetrics Sciences and Urological Sciences (previously Pediatric Clinic and Obstetrics-Gynecological Clinic envisaged in the Podesti project for the Umberto I General Hospital in 1888). The two Libraries were born in those years and specialized in Pediatric Sciences (Paediatrics, Neonatology and Childcare) and in Gynecological-Obstetrics-Urological Sciences (Obstetrics, Gynecology, Gynecological Urology and Urology), with a complete bibliographic coverage of the subjects (starting from the first half of the year 1800 to today), not available in other libraries within the University City and within the "Policlinico Umberto I".
